Dhaka Dynamites to start practice for BPL Nov 18

Dhaka Dynamites will kick start their practice for the upcoming third edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2015 from November 18, just after the day of their logo, jersey and theme song unveiling programme.
Athar Ali Khan, team manager of Dynamites, said yesterday that they will formally start their first practice session with the participation of their recruited players.
“We have plans to kick off our team’s practice after the formal programme of the team to be held on November 17. The bulk of the players of the team will be joined in it,” said former national player Athar Ali Khan.
Meanwhile, both Comilla Victorians and Chittagong Vikings have begun their formal training camp by their available local players at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothisthan (BKSP).
On the other hand, BPL franchise Chittagong Vikings appointed former Pakistan cricketer Aaqib Javed as the head coach for the season 2015.
Aaqib, who is the head coach of the ICC associate member UAE, is expected to reach Dhaka on November 17 to join the team’s ongoing practice session. Pakistan-born Aaqib will the charge of Vikings after Robin Singh failed to fulfill the contract with Chittagong Vikings for the season.
Former Indian cricketer Robin was signed by Chittagong as the head coach but due to personal reasons had to pull out form the job.
“It is regretful that for personal reasons I will now be unable to fulfill my contract with the Chittagong Vikings in the BPL. I would like to convey my apologies to the franchise owners, players and support staff. My best wishes go to the team for the tournament,” said Robin Singh.
