PowerPac signs $3.6b contact with China Energy Co

Consortium of PowerPac Holdings Limited and Kajima Corporation signed $3.6 billion EPC and financing agreement with China Energy Company Ltd on Wednesday for the partial development of the central business district (CBD) located at Sector-19 at Purbachal in the capital.

The Holdings Ltd, a sister concern of the country’s largest business conglomerate, Sikder Group, inked the contract at Beijing in China, a press statement said.  On behalf of the consortium of 'PowerPac Holdings Limited and KJIMA Corporation', Ron Haque Sikder, managing director of PowerPac Holdings Limited, and Zhang Hongming, member of the BOD, vice president of China Energy Company Ltd, signed the agreement.

Under the agreement, China Energy Company Ltd would be partnering for the development works as well as arranging finance for the CBD project in Purbachal.  Senior officials concerned from both the organizations were present at the signing ceremony. The Iconic Skyscraper to be built in the CBD project at Purbachal new town area in the capital.
