Triennial conference of Bangladesh Awami League Narail district unit was held yesterday with much enthusiasm and festivity. Through this conference Advocate Subas Chandra Bose and Nizamuddin Khan Nilu were re-elected as president and secretary of the district committee respectively.
Since the pre-liberation period Narail is a strong outpost of this political party. Common people and the people belonging to other parties were also very much concern for the conference especially for the new committee of one of the major political parties and the ruling party as well. The venue of the conference held at sultan monch area.
General Secretary of central Awami League and minister for roads and bridge ministry joined the conference as chief guest. He was accompanied by joint general secretary Mohammad Hanif, central Awami League leader SM Kamal, Abdur Rahman, Aktar Jahan Kalpana. Presidium member advocate Pijush Kanti Bhattacharya inaugurated the conference. Besides central leaders, Kabirul Haque Mukti, MP and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, MP addressed the conference.
