State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder yesterday said initiatives will be taken to reduce tariff so that domestic industrial products can be sustained in competition with imported products.

“If domestic industries produce international quality products, it should be more sincere to use the domestic products rather than importing it from abroad,” he said while speaking as the chief guest at a view exchange meeting on “Potentialities of Domestic Steel Building Industry” at the factory of Steel Mark Building Limited in Gazipur, said a press release.
