A shopkeeper was stabbed to death allegedly by his friend at city’s Malda Colony area under Boalia police station on Saturday. The deceased could be identified as Ramjan Ali, 28, son of Abdur Razzaque, a resident in the said area. Nibaran Chandra Barman, OC  of Boalia Police Station, said Ramjan Ali locked in an altercation with his friend Shohel Rana, 29, son of Arman Ali reportedly over monetary transaction at around 11 am.
