John Sarker has recently been promoted to the position of deputy managing director (DMD) of ONE Bank Limited, the bank said in a press statement yesterday.

Prior to achieving the position, Sarker was the additional managing director of the same bank.

He started his career as probationary officer of Arab Bangladesh Bank Limited (Presently AB Bank Ltd.) on October 1, 1986, the statement said.
