Debojyoti Mishra, a well-known music personality of West Bengal, has associated himself with a new film titled ‘Gondi’, directed by Fakhrul Arefin Khan. Currently in the editing panel, the music director will direct the background music of the film as well as a song which will be used in the film.

The story of the romantic-comedy film ‘Gondi’ will proceed with the story of one man and one woman aged 55 and 65 years. The film shows how a friendship between a man and a woman went through in their retirement age, how the family and the people around them take up the issue.

Debojyoti Mishra says, “The content of the film is good. At the end of the last year, director Fakhrul Arefin Khan narrated the story to me. I agreed to conduct the music of the film after hearing the story from him. Hopefully, I can give everyone a little something different. Besides, a group of young people is working behind it. They all are working hard for the film. I believe the image of such a story will look good to the audience.”

The main two characters of this film are to be portrayed by celebrated actors Sabyasachi Chakrabarty of West Bengal and Suborna Mustafa from Bangladesh.
