Even amid a busy season with his band Dhrubatara, National Film Award-winning singer SI Tutul has managed time to lend his vocal to two original songs titled ‘Pora Chokh’ and ‘Hariyechi Ami’.

While the lyrics of  both the songs are written by renowned lyricist Jamal Hossain, Rezwan Sheikh has done the musical arrangements. Rezwan also composed the melody for ‘Hariyechi Ami’. The melody of ‘Pora Chokh’ is done by Ovi Akash.

Both the songs were recorded at a studio in Dhanmondi on Monday evening.

Speaking with DhakaLive, Tutul said, “I am familiar with Jamal bhai’s name and his songs. Many established singers have lent vocals to his songs. So, upon being asked to render two songs written by him, I agreed. I really liked the songs’ lyrics.”

“‘Pora Chokh’ and ‘Hariyechi Ami’ have both touched my heart. The tunes are also very sweet. I hope the listeners will appreciate the songs,” he added.

The music videos for the two songs will be produced soon. They will be released on the YouTube channel of Rangon Music.
