AKASH DTH, the country’s first and only legal direct-to-home service provider, is offering free subscription for the first month to its new customers who will purchase the connection having BRAC Bank credit or debit cards, a press statement said.  

Beximco Communications Limited and BRAC Bank Limited signed an agreement in this regard at the head office of BRAC Bank in Gulshan, Dhaka recently. The offer will be valid till December 31.

 Zia Hasan Khan, head of business planning and supply chain of Beximco Communications, and Nazmur Rahim, head of alternate banking channels of BRAC Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

According to the agreement, credit and debit cardholders of BRAC Bank will enjoy free AKASH DTH subscription for first month on standard package purchases till December 31. Any purchase from the regular channels, online or EMI will be able to enjoy this one-month free subscription, the statement said.

Muhammad Abul Khair Chowdhury, head of marketing and strategic sales, Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain, business planning and supply chai, Mahbub Ur Rashid Khan, manager-payment operations, Abu Syeed, deputy manager-payment reconciliation from Beximco Communications, Siraj Siddiquey Shakil, head of digital banking and e-commerce, Sarah Anam, head of products-deposits and NFB, Sultan Mahmud Sarkar, senior manager, e-commerce, Imtiaz Khan, specialist from BRAC Bank were also present on the occasion.
