Six-day photo exhibition ends at Nat’l Museum today

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bangladesh and China, China Radio International, Idachu Limited China and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Bangladesh jointly organised a six-day photography exhibition titled ‘China-Bangladesh Friendship in the eye of a Camera’ at Nalini Kanta Bhattasali Gallery of Bangladesh National Museum in the capital. A total of 120 photographs by 50 Bangladeshi and Chinese amature photographers, featuring life, culture, tradition, natural beauty, urban and rural life of two countries are on display in the exhibition. Earlier on November 5, State Minister for Finance and Planning MA Mannan inaugurated the exhibition followed by an award giving ceremony. The event was also attended by Cultural Affairs acting secretary Begum Akhtari Momtaz and Bangladesh National Museum director general Faizul Latif Chowdhury and Cultural Counsellor of China Chang Sang, among others. The exhibition will end today and remain open to all from 10am to 5pm.
