The members of Bangladesh Army and the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have seized 13 rocket-propelled projectiles and some ammunition from a hill of Satchari National Forest of Habiganj yesterday. But nobody was arrested in this connection of recovering the rocket projectiles, Lt Col Mohammad Mahabubul Alam, commanding officer of RAB-9 told the media.

“Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-9 in cooperation of the members of Bangladesh Army of 24 infantry division launched a drive in the Satchhari National Park last night and recovered 13 rocket projectiles and other firearms,” he said.

“Any terrorist group might have kept the arms and ammunitions here,” he added. The Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR), at a statement said that the rocket projectiles and ammunitions were recovered based on specific information of intelligence agency.
