‘Bou Shashuri’ goes on air Nov 16

A new drama serial titled ‘Bou Shashuri’ is set to go on air from November 16 on Boishakhi TV. With the screenplay and direction by Akash Ranjan, the drama has been made from the story written by Tipu Alam Milon.  

The different characters in the drama are played by Shahiduzzaman Selim, Al Monsur, Ahona, Sazu Khadem, Munira Mithu, Arfan Ahmed, Nazira Mou, Joyraj, Obak, Irin Tani, Amin Ahmed and Gulshan Ara, among others.  

With the on-air schedule of ‘Bou Shashuri’ just around the corner, a view-exchange meeting was arranged at the office of Boishakhi TV on Saturday. Along with the entertainment journalists from different media outlets, deputy managing director and chief editor of Boishakhi TV Tipu Alam Milon, producer of the drama Rabiul Hasan Sujan, director Akash Ranjan and actor Abak, among others, were present at the event.

Tipu Alam Milon said about the drama, “The fight between wife and mother-in-law is nowadays a social disease. The crisis in their relationship is a very common phenomena which leads to serious unrest in the family. These types of incidents are regularly seen in many of the families in our society. But it wouldn’t have happened anymore, if everyone could see through the eyes of harmony and equality.”

“I have written the story of ‘Bou Shashuri’ as part of my social responsibility. I believe the drama would be well received by the viewers as they accepted the dramas made with my stories in the past, Tipu Alam Milon added.

The drama ‘Bou Shashuri’ will be aired every Saturday to Monday at 8:40pm on Boishakhi.
