Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup football tournament will be staged every two years interval after this edition as the chief coordinator of the tournament Tarafdar Ruhul Amin informed the reporters yesterday at his office in Chattogram. Ruhul Amin, who thinks the tournament a successful in term of fulfill their objectives of different aspects said, “We took the decision to organise the tournament every two years interval from this edition.”

“Actually to organise such an international tournament you should have enough time to maintain so many things related the tournament. It takes at least six months to ensure all the important jobs regarding the tournament a successful one. “Specially, to confirm the participants teams from abroad is an important issue, as to have good teams have to face some difficulties , due to the schedule of different countries and here in Bangladesh,” said Tarafdar.

“But the tournament will take place at the last of October or earlier of November every two years interval, it is finalised,’ said Tarafdar, also vice-chairman of the hosts Chittagogng Abahani Limited.  “I think we are successful in organising the tournament making the tournament acquaintance with the Asian countries, to bring the football fans to stadium with staging an attractive tournament after the name of great Sheikh Kamal, the beginner of the modern football concept it in the country.”

Tarafdar also explained the standard of the tournament is the best in Bangladesh have been staged. “It was a top class exhibition of modern football this year we organised, crowds enjoyed and gather to watch the matches.”
