Bangladesh national team ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim congratulated the national football team for their outstanding performance against India in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.

The brilliant performance by Jamal Bhuiyan led ' Red and Green' side against India that ended in a 1-1 draw also touched Mashrafe and Mushfiqur's hearts as the duo extended greetings on social media with all their ‘heart and soul’ at the match day night.

Mashrafe, also called “Captain Fantastic’ on his Facebook page wrote, “Well done, Boys. Still proud of you despite conceding a last minute goal. Let's keep our head high and looking forward to the next match".

Mushfiqur Rahim on his verified Facebook page posted, “Hard luck for the boys. Proud of the effort and determination. Next time Insha Allah. Always have the support.”
