Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 45 people in capital in separate anti-drug raids in the past 24 hours. Police have recovered 18,607 yaba tablets, 34 grams of heroin, 2.525 kilograms of ganja, 10 liters of local wine and 300 bottles of phensidyl from their possessions, said a DMP press release yesterday. Teams of different police stations and detective branch conducted the drives from 6 am of October 04 to this morning today in the capital.
A total of 26 cases were lodged with concerned police stations in this regard.
