National Film Award-winning actress Zakia Bari Mamo and popular actor Abdun Noor Sajal will be seen running away together in a new tele-drama titled ‘Tumi Ami’. The tele-drama will be aired tomorrow at 8pm on RTV.

Written by Mansur Rahman Chanchal, the drama is directed by Sarder Rokon.

About the story of the tele-drama, Rokon said, “Sajal comes to meet Mamo at her house as part of an arranged marriage. At one point, the family members leave the duo for spending some personal time. All of a sudden, the would-be couple runs away from the house. When everyone is very anxious after failing to track them down, Mamo and Sajal seems to be very relaxed as if nothing happens.”

Mamo said about the drama, “I previously worked under Sarder Rokon’s direction multiple times. He always works with utmost care and discusses the scene with the artistes in details. As a result, the artistes perform from their hearts. I am hopeful the story of ‘Tumi Ami’ will be liked by the audience.”

“Sajal Bhai (Abdun Noor Sajal) is always a helpful person. Our on-screen chemistry in the drama will be enjoyed by the audience”, she added.
