NoFeL Sporting Club emerged the champions of the Under-18 Football Championship after defeating Saif Sporting Club by a solitary goal at Bir Sreshtha Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the capital yesterday.

Arman Hossain Abir scored the all important goal in the final to steer the Premier League Football relegated team to lift the trophy of the age group tournament trophy.  

NoFeL, who were relegated this year from the Premier League, on their way to move into the final, defeated the new champions of the Premier League Football Bashundhara Kings in the semifinal.

However, in the day’s final, though the Saif Sporting Club, the fourth placed of the premier league had the better dominance in the game with playing power football, could not score any goal, when the day’s underdogs having the lone opportunity utilised to snatch the victory.

Abus Salam Murshedi MP, senior vice-president of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
