The Madhabdi Sports Academy (MSA) has been working over the last two years at Narsingdi aiming social changes through sports.
The entrepreneurs of the MSA want to protect the local youths from the curse of drug through raising awareness on social justice, engaging them in sports in this newly- launched academy, according to a press release.
The MSA entrepreneurs and the local senior citizens found that sports like cricket, football, volleyball and chess have a great influence over their daily activities. And so, they have been organising training camps on Cricket, women badminton, chess and volleyball since last year. Around one hundred and fifty students from different disciplines got admission at the MSA so far.
Besides, the MSA has been holding seminars and human chains on several social issues like, ‘Nirapod Sarak Chai’, ‘Say, No to drugs’ to mainly create awareness among the people.
As part of their activities, the MSA entrepreneurs have been distributing sports items among talented players as well as under privileged athletes.
