A SSC candidate committed suicide by hanging himself on Sunday night in Pirojpur
town.
The deceased was identified as Md Moshiur Rahman Molla, 16, son of Abdus Sattar Molla of College road in Sadar upazila of the district. He was a student of local Town Hall School.
Victim’s family sources said on Sunday night deceased’s mother scolded him for his irregularities of studies.
Yesterday morning his parents called him to go to coaching. But they go no response.
When they tried to all him from the window they saw him in his room hanging with the ceiling fan.
The matter was informed to police.
Molla Azad Hossain, assistant superintendent of police (ASP), sadar circle said as there is no claim, the body was handed over to the deceased’s family without autopsy.
