Highway police seized 500 square feet of teak from a covered van parked in bypass road area on Dhaka-Chittagong highway on Sunday night.
Sources at the Forest Department said acting on a tip-off, the highway police raided the bypass road area at around 10:30 pm and seized the valuable wood from a covered-van carrying a banner that says ‘army emergency food supply.’
