The Polar Ice Cream 26th National School Handball Tournament (boys & girls) got off to an auspicious start at Shaheed Capt M Monsur Ali Handball Stadium in the capital yesterday. A total of six girls’ group matches were decided till filing of this report. Sunnydale thrashed Shaheed Sheikh Russel Govt. High School 17-0 in the opening match. The winners were leading the first half 11-0. Polar Ice Cream Managing Director Nazim Uddin Ahmed inaugurated the tournament as chief guest.
