National Film Award-winning artistes Chanchal Chowdhury and Zakia Bari Mamo appeared together in three tele-dramas-- ‘Sorry Bolo’, ‘Bekikto Babul’ and ‘Nobboi Din’ during this Eid-ul-Azha. Since the telecast of the dramas, the duo has been receiving positive feedback from the audience.
For the uniqueness in the story and portrayal of working parents and their daily common problems, SA Haque Alike’s ‘Sorry Bolo’ has been gaining the most audience admiration among other projects, said Chanchal and Mamo.
They are also getting praise for the ‘Bekikto Babul’ and ‘Nobboi Din’, directed respectively by Shokal Ahmed and Ratan Hasan, as well.
Chanchal said, “I always read the story before working in any drama. I like to give importance both to the story and character. If I don’t like the story, I do not work in it. During this Eid, I have worked in dramas with good stories. Of the Eid projects, I have received most plaudits for ‘Sorry Bolo’.”
Asked if the duo would be seen together on the big screen soon, the artistes gave a positive feedback.
Momo said she always prioritises acting in storey-based drama as she thinks the audience tries to find resemblance to the stories of their life and family with the dramas.
“Thanks to YouTube, viewers outside the country are also watching these dramas. I have received positive responses for ‘Sorry Bolo’ and other Eid projects. If all goes accordingly, we will be seen in films as well,” said Mamo. l
