Crossing the boundaries of the country, National Film Award-winning Bangladeshi actress Zakia Bari Mamo stepped into the arena of Hindi film. The actress will be seen making her debut in a Hindi feature film titled ‘Maxx Ki Gunn’, directed by Indian director Samir Khan.
Produced by Faisal Saif from Faith Pictures Incorporation, Mamo will be seen playing the role of a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officer in the film.
DhakaLive has news Mamo participated in the shooting of ‘Maxx Ki Gunn’ that started yesterday in various locations in Bhutan.
Regarding her first Hindi film, Mamo said, “Firstly, I would like to thank everyone associated with the film ‘Maxx Ki Gunn’. Working with an international team will be a turning point and amazing experience for me. I am sure I will be able to make use of this experience for good in future.”
“The main thing is before casting me in the film, Faisal Saif has researched about my performance, works and achievements to ensure if I am suitable for the role. He has given me enough time to get into the character of the CBI officer. I have tried to do just that.”
“With the grace of almighty Allah, the work begun without any problem so far. A new arena in my acting career has just opened up by working in this film. I would like to seek blessings from everyone in the country so that I could bring the character to life with my performance”, she added further.
