Kushtia: Detective Branch (DB) of police in a drive arrested eight activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir along with 10 hand bombs from a boarding house in the district town yesterday afternoon, reports UNB. The arrestees were identified as Khaled Hossain, 21, Sagor, 17, Mehedi Hassan, 20, Mohsin, 20, Mehedi Hassan, 19, Faijullah, Azim Uddin, 20, Raisul Islam, 20, hailing from different upazilas of the district. DB Sub-inspector Abu Daud said tipped-off, a team of detectives conducted a drive in Milline Jame Masjid hostel in the afternoon and arrested the eight Shibir activists while they were holding a clandestine meeting.
