Import and export activities resumed yesterday through Hili Land Port in Dinajpur after an eight-day suspension for Durga Puja festivity.
 According to sources at the port, all sorts of import and export activities remained suspended from October 18 to October 25 on the occasion. Abdur Rahman Liton, general secretary of clearing and forwarding agents' association at the port, said imports, exports, customs clearance, loading and unloading of the goods resumed from yesterday.
 However, movement of travelers holding passports through the Immigration Check Post at the Hili Land Port remained normal during the period.
