The Vegetable Division of Horticulture Research Centre of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI)  arranged a day-long farmers training on “Vegetable production on rooftop garden”  at the seminar room of vegetable division of the institute. The programme was supported by strengthening research on horticultural crops and dissemination of horticultural and field crops technology at char land areas project. At least 40 house owners from Dhaka and Gazipur districts  participated in the training.

BARI Director General Abul Kalam Azad inaugurated the training as chief guest.  BARI Director (Horticulture Research Centre) Abeda Khatun presided over the function while Director (Training & Communication) Zebun Nessa was the special guest.
