Police in a drive arrested seven activists of BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir from different parts of Sadar and Sajahanpur upazilas.  The arrestees are identified as Chowdhury Sohag, 35, general secretary of no 3 word BNP of the municipality, Shibir leaders Mujahid, 17, Hasan, 15, Jamaat leaders Maolana Abdus Salam, Hasan Ali, 45, Helal Uddin, 40, and Madla union unit Jamaat Ameer Gaziur Rahman, 45. Police super Asaduzzaman said they were arrested early yesterday on various charges.
