Dhaka Mohammedan Club suffered a shocking 0-1 defeat at the hands of De Spingher Bazan of Afghanistan in their opening match of the Sheikh Kamal Club Cup football tournament  at MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong yesterday.
Anwar Akbari scored the all important goal of the match for the Afghan side. Local Mohammedan Sporting Club squandered half a dozen certain goal chances and had to leave the field with a defeat.             
The match got the pace right from the moment from the kick off when both the sides onset with a attacking approach to take the command and shared the ball possession evenly but the team from Afghanistan looked tactically better to handle the opponents with terminating the strong attacks and  fabricated attacks though two flanks.
