Speakers at a function underscored the need for taking various programmes to ensure and maintain the rights and dignity of the journalists. Greater unity will be formed among the journalists at national stage by strengthening the harmony and cooperation between the members of the various regional organizations of journalist, they said while addressing an Annual General Meeting and iftar mahfil of Brahmanbaria Jounalist Forum-BJFD in the capital yesterday evening.

Chaired by BJFD President and Editor in Chief of GTV, Syed Ishtiak Reza, the ceremony was addressed, among others, by  Khondoker Muniruzzaman, Acting Editor of Daily Sangbad; Shah Muhammad Mutasim Billah, GS of BJFD and News Editor of Maasranga Television; senior journalist Rafikujjaman, Gias Uddin Ahmed, Deepok Acharya, SM Golam Samdani, Monirul Islam Manic, Sohrab Shanto and Kawser Khokon.
