A salesman of Doyal Backery Factory was crushed under the wheels of a bus in Bhabanipur area of Gazipur sader upazila in the city yesterday. The victim was identified as Anowar Hossain, 32, son of Yousuf Ali of Maizpara area of Bhabanipur in Gazipur.

Sub-inspector of Nawjure highway police Mohammed Chan Miah said, a Sreepur bound passenger bus of Provati Bonosree Paribahan  hit Anwar at the area  on Dhaka Mymensingh highway while he was going to deliver foods item with a small van at around 10.30 am, leaving Anwar dead on the spot.

His body was sent to Shahid Taz Uddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
