Popular Bangladeshi model-actress Mozeza Ashraf Monalisa has been invited to participate in the International Film Festival of South Asia (IFFSA) Toronto 2019, as a cultural representative of Bangladesh.

Began in May 9, the IFFSA Toronto, one of the largest South Asian film festivals in North America, is currently taking place in Ontario, Canada as part of South Asian Heritage Month celebrations.

DhakaLive has news that Monalisa has already received the invitation letter and will be present in the festival from May 18 to 19.

Monalisa said about her participation in the festival, “The invitation to the festival is a prestigious matter for me. I am extremely grateful to the organizing committee of the festival for inviting me. I am feeling very happy and proud as I am going to participate in the event as a cultural representative of Bangladesh. This is for the first time that I will be participating in an international film festival as an invited guest.”
