Shwapnil to perform at Durga Puja in India

Celebrated young Bangladeshi Rabindra Sangeet singer Shwapnil Shojib is all set to perform in the capital of India, Dehli as well as Kolkata on this Durga Puja. Among all the offers, he chose Dehli Great Kailas (GK II) Durgatsabh to sing. He told DhakaLive about his performance in Delhi, “This festival has a heritage and among all the other festivals; this is the oldest, traditional and enjoyable.” He also mentioned there will be many Bengali singers from India such as Shreya Guhathakurta, Iman Chakravarty, Sounak Chatterjee and they will be sharing the stage along with him. Shwapnil Shojib will perform at the show on Maha Navami night. Along with Tagore songs, he also will be singing Bhedas, some ethnic songs of Bangladesh as well.
Besides, the singer will make a solo recital on Mohastami at Kolkatas’s most famous and artistic Durgatsav in Uhohar Complex, New Goria. Indian musicians will be supporting him in these concerts. He will also be singing in TV channels regularly and special musical shows of Durga Puja.
To note, Shwapnil came back from his successful America tour recently. He was Bangladesh’s first official entry for this year’s North American Bengali Conference and made so many musical shows in different states of America as well.l
