Young talented singer Bristy Mutsuddi, who was crowned as ‘Konia-Channel i Shera Kontho 2012’, is going to experience most memorable moment of her life as she will share the same stage with melody queen Runa Laila at a Durga Puja programme in Singapore. Internationally acclaimed artiste Runa Laila and talented Bristy Mutsuddi will perform at the programme, organised by Bangla Universal Society, on Bijoya Dashami on October 22 evening in Singapore. To attend the festival, Brisity will fly to Singapore today. Bristy will perform for two days at the programme, which will be held at a venue on BT Road, Singapore. Bristly shared her excitement with DhakaLive, “I think I am divinely fortunate that I will sing on a stage, where a celebrated singer like Runa Laila will also perform. I don’t know whether I will get this opportunity again in the future. The day will truly be remembered forever in my life.”
Bristy also informed that her sister Nirbachita, who was also a contestant in the same show Shera Kontho, got Runa Laila as a judge during the competition. But Bristy was not that fortunate like her sister! But Bristy has a credit to her portfolio, which definitely marked as an inspiration in her career that she performed with Runa Laila at a programme on a satellite TV channel during last Eid. Particularly, two of her songs ‘Pagol Pagol Manushgula’ and ‘Ami Ekdin Tomay Na Dekhile’ earned a huge response from the audience.
On the other hand, Bristy informed DhakaLive that the work of her first solo album is in good progress. Meanwhile, seven songs—written by Dr Shelly Barua, Sanjib Acharya and Babul Islam and tuned by Kumar Bishwajit and Kishore Dash, have already been completed. The album will be released soon. l
