Police arrested 113 persons including five activists of BNP and Jamaat conducting raids in different areas of eight upazilas of the district from Saturday night yesterday morning, reports BSS from Jessore. Among the arrested persons two are activists of BNP and three are Jamaat activists. All of them were arrested on different charges including destructive activities. Most of them are also accused of different cases pending with different police stations of the district.
