Rihad Khan, captain of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) U-16 cricket team said that they have good preparation to face the visiting Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) U-16 cricket team. “Our team is very good. All are in good form. As we’re all at the same age, we held our camp together. We all know each other,” said Rihad Khan.
“We have come here after playing some tournaments, where we have taught how to face their opponent bowlers,” Khan told media after their practice session at the national academy of the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur yesterday.
“The unity of our team is good. Hopefully it’ll be a good series,” he added. Batting all-rounder Aich Mollah said that all they in good touch and runs. “It’s important for us to play a series against a foreign team. We are all focused,” Aice Mollah said.
However, PCB U-16 cricket team arrived here in Dhaka yesterday to play the series. They will start their Bangladesh tour with three day match which will be played at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah on April 29-May1. The second and last three day match will be held at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna from May 5-7. The tour will be wrapped up with three-match one-day series. The matches will be decided on May 10, 12 and 15 respectively.
