3 top UN officials due today

Three top United Nations (UN) officials will begin their three-day joint visit to Bangladesh today to highlight the ongoing need for support for the humanitarian assistance to over a million Rohingyas living in Cox's Bazar. The officials are UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Filippo Grandi, Director General of the International Organization for Migration Antonio Vitorino and UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Mark Lowcock. They will hold talks with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen.
