Pran Roy, Swagata and Ishana, three popular faces of the country’s showbiz, will be seen sharing screen together in a new drama serial titled ‘Chirokumari Songho’. The drama serial is jointly directed by Bhuvan and Refat.

With the story written by Proshno Khan, this will be the director duo’s first collaboration for a drama serial.

DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the drama serial’s first lot was concluded recently in various locations of Pubail.

In the story of ‘Chirokumari Songho’, a number of women from a village come together and take decision of never getting married. Following this, the Chirokumari Songho forms, an organisation of women who does not want to marry for the rest of their life. However, many men want to be in a relationship with these women and some even do it in secret. With such a situation, the story moves on.

About the concept of the drama serial, Pran Roy said, “With a unique concept, the story of the drama moves forward. Here, I have portrayed the role of a madman who roams around and does crazy activities. Every cast of the drama knows each other very well. Due to their cordial participation the work went very well. I hope the audience will like it.”

Commenting on the story, Swagata said, “I really liked the story, for which I worked in the drama enthusiastically. The shooting of the first lot was done smoothly. Both in the story and direction, I have found something new. I am optimistic about the drama serial”.

The drama serial ‘Chirokumari Songho’ will be aired on a satellite TV channel soon.
