On the eve of the upcoming International Workers’ Day, aka May Day, National Film Award winning playback singer Andrew Kishore has lent his vocal to a new song titled ‘Shorirta Engine Khoye Jay Din Din’. Talented music director Farid Ahmed has done the tune and music arrangement of the song.

Written by noted lyricist Mohammed Rafiquzzaman, the song tells the story about the fighting life of a rickshaw puller.

DhakaLive has news that the recording of the song has been completed recently.

About the lyric of the song, Farid Ahmed said, “The lyric is as usual amazing. The true essence of hardship of a rickshaw puller is reflected through his lyric by Mohammad Rafiq. And, this is the first time that Andrew Kishore has rendered such a rock type song. I hope the audience will like the song.”

On his part, Andrew Kishore said, “Farid always produces songs with lots of care. However, this time around, it seemed to me that he put extra effort in the making as it is for a special occasion. The lyric, tune and music arrangement have taken the song to a whole new level. I have tried my best to sing the song according to their expectation. I am optimistic about the song.”

The special song will be released on May Day (May 1).
