Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-1) in a drive today arrested three alleged drug traders with 800,000 pieces of yaba tablets from the city’s Sadarghat launch terminal area.  “On a tip-off, we arrested three drug traders from Sadarghat launch terminal area and seized 800,000 pieces of yaba tablets from their possession,” Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-1) ASP Kamruzzaman told BSS. The estimated value of the seized yaba tablets is about Taka 50 crore. The detainees were identified as Tuhin, Sabuj and Shajahan, , he said, adding that a press briefing will be held at the Media centre of the Rapid Action Battalion in the city’s Karwan Bazar area at 4 pm today in this regard.
