Rabirashmi, a Rabindra Sangeet organisation, is arranging a cultural programme titled ‘Basanter Madhuri-Utsabe’ today evening at the Sufia Kamal Auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum in Shahbag of the capital.

The programme will feature music rendition, conferring award, recitation and dance performance.

At the event, Tripura Rabindra Parishad general secretary Poet Kalyan Gupta and veteran journalist and cultural personality Amit Bhowmik (Agartala, Tripura) will be honoured with ‘Rabirashmi Award 2019’.

Besides, Rita Chakrabarti, Sarbani Das Dutta, Shauli Ray, Kinkar Narayan Datta from Agartala and Rabirashmi artistes from Dhaka will render music at the event.

The programme will preside over by Rabindra Sangeet singer Mahadev Ghosh.
