Three activists of Begum Rokeya University unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) were injured in a factional clash at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall on Tuesday night over an incident of "stalking a female student".
The injured--Rajib Hossain of Computer Science department, Subrata Roy and Rabbi of Management Studies department-were admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
Witnesses said Rajib Hossain, a supporter of BCL general secretary Nobel Sheikh, locked into an altercation with Subrata Roy and Rabbi, both followers of former BCL central committee member Foysal Azam Fahin, over stalking a female student of the university.
As the news spread in the campus, the leaders and activists of both the group swooped on each other around 9 pm leaving the three injured, they said.
