Upon allegations that BFF Executive Committee member and Women’s Football Committee Chairman Mahfuza Akhter Kiron has made derogatory comments on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, BFF President Kazi Salahuddin has formed an investigative committee.

The three member committee comprised of BFF Senior Vice President Abdus Salam Murshedy, Vice President Kazi Nabil Ahmed and BFF member Abdur Rahim.

Murshedy has been appointed coordinator of the investigative committee while the other two have been listed as members of the high-powered committee. The committee will probe the allegations and file a report to the BFF regarding Mahfuza Akhter Kiron.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh Divisional and District Sport Association brought out protest rally in Chattogram to immediate actions and demanded removal of Kiron from office along with a life time ban. Recently, Dhaka Metropolitan Chief Magistrate issued a warrant of arrest against Kiron after a club official filed a GD against her.
