The government has appointed the Editor of the Daily Jagoron Abed Khan as chairman of the board of directors of Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB). The Information ministry on Monday issued a notification in this regard saying that journalist Abed Khan will lead the 15-member board of directors of the institute. The post had fallen vacant following the death of former Chairman Golam Sarwar on August 13, 2018.
