‘Porobashinee’ gets uncut censor certificate

Filmmaker Swapan Ahmed’s much-anticipated science fiction film titled ‘Porobashinee’, produced by Reggae Entertainment and Tourism Limited, has finally received an uncut censor certificate from the Film Censor Board on Sunday. Director Swapon Ahmed informed that ‘Porobashinee’ received positive response from the members of the censor board.  Beginning back in 2012, the film took three long years to complete its shooting. The locations for the shooting includes Bangladesh, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany and Italy. The post production, colour correction, background music and animation work are also done abroad. The plot of the film involves a man fighting off against aliens but at the same time, there is the presence of a human aspect.
The film stars popular actor Emon and Reeth in the lead roles. Alongside Emon and Reeth, artistes from 16 different countries, including India, France, USA, will be acting in the film. The other cast of the film includes Kazi Ujjal, Apsara Ali, Daud Hussein Rony, Sohel Khan, Chashi Alam,  Sabyasachi Chakraborty from West Bengal, June Malia, among others. In addition, Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela (Miss Universe India 2012) will be seen dancing to an item number. The dance direction has been done by Mumbai’s Jesmine Oja.
For the soundtrack of the film, popular artistes such as Kona, Elita, Ebrar Tipu, Proshi, Parvez, Tanvir Tareq, Arif Rana, Sukonnya, and Rupankar from Kolkata have lent their voices. The songs have been written by Kolkata’s Shrijat, Jony Haq, Rabiul Islam Jibon, Zahid Akbar and Swapon Ahmed. The tune and music direction was done by Mumbai’s DJ Aks, Kolkata’s Ranjan Mitra, Ebrar Tipu and Arif Rana. l
