The International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers -2015 was observed in the city yesterday. Armed Forces, Rangpur area organised the programme. A procession, led by Brigadier General AKM Shamsuddin, station commander of Rangpur Cantonment, was brought out in city yesterday. The officials and members of the BGB and police and other peacekeepers took part in the procession.Later, a meeting was held at ‘Sasata Bangla’ Liberation War Museum. Colonel (Admin) Neamul Islam Fatemi, Additional Police Super Zainul Abedin, addressed the meeting.
