Women have been created in an extraordinary and exquisite mould and women biologically and psychologically are quite different from men in many ways. Naturally enough, some of their organs function differently from men and their disorders are also of a specialised nature. In this issue the cover story is on Women's Health wherein we discuss some aspects of women's health and disorders in an appropriate manner.

Some of the disorders may be listed as: excessive menstrual bleeding at puberty, menstrual pain, white vaginal discharge, breast cancer, prolapse, fibroid, ovarian cyst, infertility, frigidity, hidden symptoms of malfunctions at different ages of women, mental problems specific to women, hormonal imbalances and some other related disorders. The special gift of childbirth alone gives rise to many disorders.

The articles in this issue provides us with the symptoms, prevention, treatment and post disorder care of women who are attacked by different forms of women's diseases. Though this issue is focused on women, men must also know about these diseases so that they can be knowledgeable about the care needed for their wives and daughters, particularly during childbirth. Aged or widowed mothers staying with sons in their old age must also be cared for properly. With all these, other regular sections on medical news and pharmaceutical news are also included as usual.
