Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL), a state-run non-banking financial institution, is going to organise a two-day international summit titled as ‘Bangladesh Clean Energy Summit 2019’ with a view to accelerate the transition towards clean and sustainable economy.
The exhibition will be held at Bangabandhu Inter-national Conference Center (BICC) in the capital starting from March 10, the orga
niser said at a press conference yesterday.
“The objective of the event is to create a platform for energy practitioners to exchange knowledge, ideas and address challenges through interactive discussions on various aspects of clean energy which include technology, market development, financing as well as policy and regulatory matters,” official said at the press conference.
Mahmood Malik, executive director and CEO of IDCOL, said that Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal is expected to inaugurate the two-day summit.
A two-day long Clean Energy Technology Exhibition along with the workshop is also going to take place at same venue.
