Four Bangladeshi films at Goa int’l festival

Four Bangladeshi films have been invited to take part at the 46th International Film Festival India (IFFI) in Goa, India. The festival is set to kick off from November 20, and will continue until November 30. The invitation, for taking part at the IFFI 2015, came through Bangladesh Embassy in New Delhi. Then, Information Ministry of Bangladesh finalised four films for the festival by the request of the Foreign Ministry. A letter issued by deputy secretary (Film) GN Nazmun Hossain Khan revealed the news to the media. Four selected films are—Gazi Rakayet’s ‘Mrittika’, Zahidur Rahim Anjan’s ‘Meghmallar’, Prasun Rahman’s ‘Sutopar Thikana’ and Professor Arup Ratan Chowdhury’s ‘Sarga Theke Narak’. Meanwhile, related letters have been sent to the filmmakers from the Information Ministry.
