Bangladesh will play two official warm-up matches against their sub-continent rivals Pakistan and India as part of their preparation for the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup in England and Wales. Both of the matches will be held at the Caridff Wales Stadium, a venue in which they have the sweet memory of beating Australia in 2005 and New Zealand in 2017 ICC Champions Trophy.

While the match against Pakistan will be held on May 26, Bangladesh will play against India on May 28. Bangladesh will start their World Cup campaign with the match against South Africa on June 2 at the Oval. All ten competing nations will play two official warm-up fixtures ahead of the tournament, which will take place at four venues across England and Wales.

The warm-up fixtures will be held over five days between 24-28 May, and will be hosted at four of the official CWC19 Tournament Venues; the Bristol County Ground, Cardiff Wales Stadium, Hampshire Bowl and The Oval, an ICC press release said yesterday.

As per previous ICC tournaments, warm-up fixtures will be 50 over per side, but will not carry official ODI status, as teams can field all members of their 15-man squad during the match. The tournament proper however will begin on May 30 with the match between England and South Africa at the Oval.
