A man was stabbed to death by his younger brother at Balian village in Phulbaria upazila  following family dispute.

The victim was identified as Golam Robbani, 22, of the village.

OC of Phulbaria Police Station Sheikh Kabirul Islam said there had been a  dispute between Robbani and his younger brother Nurul Haque over the ownership of a power tiller. They locked in an altercation around 1.00pm on Saturday over the issue.  At one stage Nurul hit Robbani with an iron rod, leaving him dead.
